Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) Mac Launch has been anticipated for a while and is finally here. Apple announced on Tuesday, that they intend to debut new Mac computers on October 27. Furthermore, the company stated that new Mac products will be available to the public later this month.
It is important to note, that this announcement follows the recent debut of Apple macOS Sierra operating system. Due to this, there is a firm expectation that the new and upcoming MacBook Pro series, will be utilizing this software.
Following an update on the Apple Mac launch, a0 Japanese publisher, Macotakara wrote an article, which stated: “According to information from a reliable Chinese supplier, Apple is planning to announce the new MacBook Pro within this month and will begin shipping out to retailers in October.”
What can be expected at the Apple Mac Launch event
In addition to the MacBook Pro, there have also been rumors of the new, enhanced Apple 5K external display being featured. Originally, this display was discontinued because of the soaring prices. However, Apple seems to be bringing it back, integrated with a powerful GPU, which ensures that low-power Mac’s will be able to make use of it.
Although it may not be the main star of the show, the MacBook Air will also reportedly be making an appearance. This is one of Apple’s entry-level products, the largest relevant change reported, would be that the MacBook Air will utilize USB Type-C ports.
Will the MacBook Pro Be Featured
Although it is still under speculation regarding what hardware Apple plans to release during the event, there is a high probability that one of the items will be the anticipated Apple MacBook Pro. It was also announced by Macotakara that the MacBook Pro would be replacing the traditional consumer USB ports.
In the place of traditional ports, the MacBook Pro, would be equipped with Apple’s own Thunderbolt 3 port, as well as the modern USB Type-C port.
