ONLY OUTLAWS WILL HAVE GUNS

by Jim Deakin

Last week a United States Border Patrol Agent was shot in Arizona. The agents were responding to illegal border crossers through the Ramanote Canyon within the National Forest.
The criminals must not have read the 1968 U.S. Gun Control Act, which prohibits illegal aliens from owning guns.
An agent who took the oath to defend our country was shot. Imagine if that agent had not been there, and the armed criminal alien had reached an area populated by law abiding American citizens.
U.S. Senators and Representatives who advocate for open borders are working on legislation to designate the National Forest along the U.S.A/Mexico border as a Federal Wilderness Area. This legislation has the effect of making it illegal for law enforcement to track and pursue criminals on the protected land.  Since the criminals do not follow the 1968 Gun Control Act, they probably will not care that the area is protected by the Federal Wilderness Act. Therefore, this
legislation opens thousands of acres as corridors for gun toting drug dealers, smugglers, murderers, rapists and provides a safe haven for terrorists.
The United States is the greatest country on Earth because of our legal immigrants. The immigrants who worked and sacrificed to get here. The immigrants who appreciate the opportunities available to them and their families as U.S. Citizens.
It is the Constitutional Duty for Congress to protect our borders.
Senators and Representatives who cannot follow their oath of office should resign.  Those who do not resign, must be voted out and replaced by professionals who take the job seriously.
Save American Sovereignty. Save Lives. Stop Politicians. Start Thinking.
Jim Deakin is a candidate for US Senate from Arizona in the 2010 Elections.

  2. Gun prohibition makes about as much sense as people prohibition. Deakin should realize that if a Mexican is earnestly seeking a job in the US and there is no lawful way to get to such a job many will flout the law. If Deakin wants to eliminate the immigration black market he needs to <a href="http://www.google.com/search?q=Let+Them+In+by+Jason+L.+Riley">suggest a method by which it can be accomplished.

Sorry Thane, we don't NEED to do anything but follow the constitution and the rule of law. And THAT'S what our Congress takes an oath to do. Sorry to say, MANY don't do it.
And no matter how YOU spin it, there is NO excuse for KNOWINGLY breaking our laws to come here, to better yourself or not.
And YOU sir are the problem and have NO solution!
My Solution? Catch, prosecute, deport. Simple as that. And NO excuses for not doing that suffices, either.

    • Working for another person is not a crime nor should the government be wasting time and money enforcing laws that punish people who aren't causing a problem. If I am the problem then what is the solution? You think it is a government program to find and deport illegal immigrants. How are you going to pay for that program?

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. In this case, "wilderness" designation also prohibits the use of any mechanized equipment which not only includes patrol vehicles, but bicycles, wheelbarrels-anything with a wheel on it and of course anything with an engine in addition to guns-which by their nature are "mechanized."

We cannot tell the difference btw a good hard working illegal wanting to cross over the border to take a hard larbor low paying job and a drug dealer looking to supply a user with life destructing drugs or a terrorist who is looking to destroy our country and kill law abiding citizens. No matter which camp an immigrant falls into, they are all breaking the law and those laws are here for the protection of our current law abiding citizens. That is why we have an immigration process (supposedly to turn away the evil doers). Under no circumstances should we ever look the other way on someone crossing the border illegally (whether from Canada or Mexico) as you cannot tell by looking at someone what their intentions are whether good or bad.

    Jim Deakin for Congress!
The problem is not immigration, but ILLEGAL immigration!
